Jaquan Leonard is currently a senior communication major at the College of Charleston. Dedicated to his love of visual arts and design, Jaquan has served as the Creative director for The Yard magazine and General Manager of CisternYard Video. As General Manager, Jaquan redesigned the content from to encompass news media, interviews, documentaries and editorial storytelling. Under his direction, the video department has seen tremendous growth, doubling the number of staff members from the previous year.
In 2016, Jaquan became one of ten students to be selected as a Martin Scholar. Through the communication department at the College of Charleston, this program bestows honors upon students who have shown exemplary performance in the area of communication, media and PR.
